Reno is a booming region that borders much of the outbound migration that’s happening in neighboring California. There are no state income taxes, real estate is easy to acquire, business regulations are fair, and talent is coming here from everywhere. Garry Gomes, SkyFiber’s founder, was able to quickly find the talent he needed to make SkyFiber a regional force in the wireless broadband sector. Now he’s taking that to a new level as the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center begins to take shape. SkyFiber is leading the way in providing the fiber and wireless connectivity for many of the construction companies and industrial giants building plants and service centers at the 15,000 acre complex.
